Six months ago I moved to New York City. Since then, I’ve lived out the life that I’ve always dreamed. Whether I was roof-topping, photographing, skateboarding, or just hanging with friends, I had my camera by my side ready to film it all. This film is the story of my first couple months in the greatest city on earth. I’ve never put more work into one project, so I hope you all enjoy it 🙂
Gian Luigi Carminati is a passionate and poetic 76 years old man who spent his entire life repairing cameras.
In his small workshop in Milan he takes care of old cameras with just a set of screwdrivers and a lot of patience.
We spotted his workshop randomly, we just passed by his shop and we got curious since we saw so many old cameras on display.
Brenden Borrellini was born completely deaf and with limited sight that developed into complete blindness. His disability presented many obstacles for him growing up but with a lot of hard work and help from the Special Education Unit at the Cavendish Road State School in Brisbane, he became the first deaf and blind student to finish his high school education and to attend University.
In 1989 he was nationally recognised and won the young Australian of the Year award for his academic achievements. But Brenden didn’t stop there.
